Les Crepes!

Crepe, a french word, that means "pan cake". The pronunciation is similar as pronouncing "crap" in english. The place which is most famous for crepes is Rennes.

Ok enough for lesson, tonight my dinner is crepe. Me and my housemate who learn french try to make this crepe according to our french text book. So here it goes...

At first, 250g of flour+2 eggs+0.5liter of milk+a pinch of salt+some water.... then mix all into a watery paste, like this...

here is some tips in mixing the paste: make the flour into a small hill, then only add the water and milk and egg (liquid) around the "flour hill". Then slowly kacau in circle without touching the "hill", so that the flour won't become ketul-ketulan which drive you mad.

anyway, playing while taking picture is some additional activities you can do, like this:

Then, you put the paste into a pan and toss it around to make it round, flip it over when the one side is cooked, then voila, you got your first crepe...

looks like roti canai eh? it tasted different actually..... roti canai no milk..

Anyway, there is sometimes accident can happen, so kanak-kanak, jaga-jaga sikit ya?

like this one, after my housemate tossed it, she terambil the fire lighter on the right side to go and kacau instead of the wooden spatula at the left side.... well, this joke is a bit too dangerous pal....

this picture demonstrate how unprofessional a person can be....this "round" crepe looks like flying white devil with the small holes like the eyes.....haih....

Ok, next, we fry some chicken mushroom ham, bought in cold storage KLCC, not expensive one....
before

frying

after

Besides ham, tuna mayonaise can be another choice to go with crepes

to make it nicer, add some onions and heat the tuna mayonaise in the pans that you use to fry the ham just now....

After done it all, serve it nice and get ready to eat.

The crepes, the cheese, the ham, the tuna.....dinner's served!

Mon amis et moi, les cuisinieres pour les crepes.

My grand finale! my last piece of crepe, I put two pieces of ham and one whole cut of cheese spread....oh my goodness, this is really......Hallelujah!

See the panda girl eating the grand finale? Am I holding a clarinet instead??

Jeremy's Real Bad Day...

Jeremy has had a real bad day in KL on 24th April 2007. I am writing this post not to reveal any personal issue, I only write out what makes Jeremy's day going from bad to worse....(so, I only write things that are not secret ok? can ya? :P)

Case no.1:
Jeremy wanna gets his clarinet fixed by changing a couple of pads. So he contacted Mr Tan and expected Mr Tan to fix it on that very same day, but......

Mr Tan : Jeremy ah? Today no pads here, tomorrow can ah?
Jeremy: swt*

Case no.2:
So, Jeremy got no choice but to come again the next day, but he din bring anything with him besides his clarinet, and he has no place for him to stay over night...

So I am very good and after discussion with my roomate she also agree to let him stay over for one night... see volcano also very good if no eruption..

Case no. 3:
In the middle of the night, I had a terrible nightmare that I am feeling so depress that I wanna die in that dream....but I forgot what is it d...and at the same time, Jeremy awoke and got shocked by my sobbing...

stupid nightmare that happened at the "perfect timing"...

Case no.4:
Actually he woke up because of stomachache and feeling very very hungry... but get scared by me la...ha ha...so he dare not wake me up and he go toilet for very long time until I also awake at last... stomach still feeling very painful and also too hungry to go pang sai...

Case no.5:

After boarding on the bus to go back, feeling completely happy, I suddenly sms him that I will go to MPO concert later(I also get to know this very last minute)... Penderaki's pieces... he feeling totally envy I guess from his sms...He could have stay for a few more hours he can watch that already...

So, that is the story of poor Jeremy with his bad days...let us all wish him good luck whenever he comes to KL...hehe :)

In my 20th birthday, she and my present roomate(Jing2) threw a surprise party for me. They bought me a tiny birthday cake....

really very tiny leh? kiamsiap jing2 and yen2.

As they dragged me outside the college, and sing me a very slow and silent birthday song (I wonder why...) then suddenly a big crowd of friends "screaming" a birthday song from behind! Surprise!

Here comes the surprise team...

Well, you can see...is all guys...see how attractive I am? cheh....(actually my roomate go ask one of my guy friend and ask him go chio other guys who know me). They hide behind 1st college pentas to prepare the cake and candles...

This is the "backstage crew", the white T is the one chio everyone to come..

so, I got to repay back for my good good ex-roomate when her birthday. Here comes the sushi master....(actually all rice only) haha....so this is our dinner (pai seh really busy for exam cannot plan surprise party only got rice party...)

The middle plate is boring sushi, the left is fish rice cake, the right is plum rice cake and vege rice cake, and the small on is the 3 flavour (fish, plum, and vege) added together.....yucks!!! Jing2 punya idea la...The birthday girl said the mix is worse than eating wasabi sushi.....
