Pyjamas Roomie...

Ah....only left one month of staying together with Jing Jing in KL. There was one night that we suddenly wanna take photos on ourselves wearing our "cutest" pyjamas. So, here goes...Actually, it is my "genius" idea that we take a photo acting like we are kissing each other, because we are good good roomie....he he.....but, I fail to do that, laughing like mad, and then the camera snapped (using timer)...

So....a kiss that failed...

2nd Day of CNY...

Aaahhhh......got to work at daddy's coffee shop this morning... ah, no, dun wanna wake up!!

And so, I drag myself to the coffee shop, my job there is to be the cashier, sit at the counter. Jobs including: give changes to waiters, sell cigarettes, and receive customers' complaints.

So, today, the most complaints I get is: Eh xiao mei (same like 'ah moi'), no place to sit d ah? / Got some more baby chair or not? (because a lot of families bring along babies.)

Not difficult to imagine, the shop is full of customers, we say "people mountain people sea":

Sorry for blur photos, because I curi-curi use handphone to take one....scared kena belasah... So, those who cannot find places to sit and got to stand waiting are the "people mountain" and those who are in their seats are the "people sea".....we have some red mountains there...

Furthermore, there are mountains at our most famous stall--Hai Nam Chicken Rice, famous in SP, if I wanna tell people where is our shop, just say "the one most famous of chicken rice one" then people will know.

So many tapao-ers...each person represent each family to come ta pao for the whole family one ar....cheh, never order drinks one if come ta pao....shoo shoo.....

Because of good business in the morning....my skill on giving changes must be FAST....means VIVACE! Got to handle 3-4 very fast waiters at once... so, I come out with some ingenius ideas:

Put a few coins at the desk, 50 cents, 20 cents and 10 cents...this is to let the waiters to get change without even telling me and wait for me to open the drawer and take money... so this is for very small change la... this is easy, just keep on filling the coins on the desk and take those RM1 notes from the waiters...
And then, see I folded those RM1 notes? so from the left most is: 2 notes folded, then 3 notes folded, 4 notes folded and another 4 notes folded. So, when I give changes, I just take the folded ones and I know how many RM1 notes I am taking at once....no need to take one by one some more need to count again see I got take extra or not.... this is the vivace idea no. 2...
Some idea, folded RM10 notes, 4 notes in one stack.....you know oh, when new year time, people got a lot of RM50 notes....drink 90 cents also pay with RM50. So I got to prepare this 4 in 1 RM 10 for this kinda changes... When the RM10 notes finish, I got to break the RM50 into 5 RM10 from the back-up changes....this morning, I break up money from the back-ups no less than 20 times I think.

Combining all the ideas of vivace changing skills: for instant, if a waiter come to me, holding RM 50 note, and say "one eighty (in mandrin)", I will take one stack of 4 RM10, then take one RM5, and one stack of 3 RM1...by the time, the waiter already took the 20 cents coins from the desk. And so, we get the right changes in less than 10 seconds...or 5 seconds...dun know.

After the peak hours....around noon, we have mass of...."black sea":

The whole shop full or indians....is not that I am racist or what, indian kids can really make the place messy...later they pour over drinks....or make until the whole plate of rice onto the floor....etc....the idea is, mostly, when they leave the places....it is so messy, a few waiters said to me: like after dog eating...... swt

So, after a tiring morning and afternoon....

Wah.....banyak RM50....papa, bagi dua keping boleh?

1st Day of CNY!

1st Day, is nothing much.....gets a lot of ang pao....the best thing is....no need to go work in the shop! HAHAHAHAHA....... Every year I got to go help out in the shop during CNY as well.... surprised that this year, it rest for a day!

So, I stayed at my grandma's place during the eve. Talking to grandma until midnight.... She is started to get concern about my "boyfriend"....hahaha....opps, old d.... elder relatives starts to concern about this issue.....help!!..... we talked and talked, until I cannot stand anymore and fall asleep...

Next day, my grandma help me took a picture of me just woke up, puffy eyes....I was planned to put up, but errr, too sexy, better not....haha

So we got up, get ang pao, eat, watch TV....relax....later after lunch, relatives are coming d!

One of my favourite cousin.....he grow taller than I would have expected!

Very timid and shy boy..... ask him let me take photo also he always shying out.....haha, very cute and a good boy.

See my lil cousin sister some more bully him. Poor darling she has got down syndrome, but she is good at immitating stuff....I guess this one, she maybe immitating some magic show or what....have a guess...

hahaha....we all watch her show..... then, proceed to the outside of the house....

Little "monsters" are making a great deal of noise ouside... they play chasing and I saw one climbing over the fence and try to get over to neighbour's house.... Terrified that he climbed so tall....I ask him to come back down immediately....he some more dare to answer back! SO WORRY that he may fall by accident (he is the youngest and the smallest)....I go and grab hold of him and hug him down (by force of course), and then, we end up having a good "fight"....he made full use of his teeth.... the result....he kena marah......wahahahahhaha!!!

In the late afternoon, we all went over to another relative's place.... and I saw a baby cousin brother soooooooooooooooooo cute! The last time I saw him, he was only 2 days old.... The baby boy and his sisters.....little darlings! The baby still dripping saliva....can see?

Ahhhh.....finally! I get to hold the baby.....he got so excited all the time....I had great difficulties to hold him still for the photo shoot.... after a few try....this is the best I can give....others, you can only see I am holding a "blur"....

And then, one minute later....start crying because tired and wanna sleep d.....ahhh.....one minute earlier still so active, another minute....he wanna get his nap d..... pandai betul...

So, at night, again, eat and watch TV, nothing interesting again....

And so, my 1st day of CNY 2008..

CNY Eve!

The CNY Eve is the most enjoyable day for me. All the family members gathered and busy with the steamboat. Children making all sort of noise playing and adults chit chatting. Seeing this is enough to make me so content. It is always the happiest moment during every CNY.

Journey back for CNY!

It is Thursday night, 31st Jan. It is our exciting moment and our big day to GO HOME. Right, itchy? We all students were counting down to the day when we can go back to hometown especially for the biggest event for us chinese.

Jing Jing and I were meeting the younger sister of our ex-schoolmate(Shu Jin). We 3 were going back by train together. She reached KL Sentral super early, about 6pm?? Jing Jing and I went out from KL house only at 6.30pm or later....hehe....we were not being late, the train depart at 8.45pm ok? So we had a very long dinner there, Jing Jing and I recalling the first time we take the train ourselves. Mine is considered adventurous. Especially the one when itchy fetch me to KL Sentral, we were late because of bad traffic, and I miss the train. That one is the climax of the tension.

So, we "lucky draw" the train tickets at Sentral. I've got one that is opposite to both of them. It is a good seat, because I can see both, and they can only see me! Wahahahahaha! By the way, the light for Shu Jin and mine is broken. So we are in a shade, better to sleep!

We were busy sms when we get on board...

After the first guitar class Jing Jing took as her co-curriculum.....

She came back and practise...so hardworking... see how she practise...
